This is the second St Peter and St James Hospice Charity Day in recent times and Mid Sussex is delighted to support this local Charity. Lee Andrews has once again been getting enthusiastic novice players into golf and teaching them across the summer. They have reached a fantastic milestone - their first event across 18 holes and everyone remembers their first round. To make it special, teams of four of novice and experienced players, will be created by Lee Andrews, to play Texas Scramble. a simple format of no drop out and no minimum drives. Watch out for nearest the pins and nearest the Hospice Donkey - Dudley!
The day starts from 8am with breakfast baps and coffee/tea and a stunning Hospice raffle, then a shot gun start at 9am. Lunch will be served after play and prizes will be awarded to the winners. Special rate for Mid Sussex Members at £40, to be paid direct to the Hospice at https://stpjhospice.org/support-us/donate/one-off-donation/ and include Gift Aid too if you can.
It costs £6 million per year to run St Peter and St James Hospice and £10,000 per day to provide care services, out in our local Community and at their Inpatient Unit. However, only 13% of this is provided by the Government, so your support is very much appreciated.
