The Lady Captain's Fun Day followed an American theme on Independence Day with amazing costumes and Green Keepers Revenge challenges on holes 7 and 12.  £260 was raised for the Lady Captain's Charity, St Peter and St James Hospice, along the way.

The winners were Debby Gill, Jackie Lamb, Sarah Alvgren and Catherine Hinchliffe with 105 points on count back from Julie Hamer, Sally Hamer, Judith Grigg and Louise Turner, With Val Kennedy, Judith Leeves, Diane Stratford and Barbara Morrison in third place with 100 points.

Nearest the pins were Judith Leeves and Sue MacGregor. Nearest the Hospice Donkey was Linda Ixer.  The best costume was won by the Hill Billies - Maria Driver, Jan Roberts, Jo Clark and Sue Field.
