The New Ping G400 Range

G400

Driver

The new G400 drivers' streamlined shape advances aerodynamics and stability to our highest levels ever. The multi-material design combines reduced drag, a forged face to increase speed and distance, and a tungsten back weight for producing our fastest, most forgiving driver ever.

Fairway

The G400 fairway woods' ball speed and stopping power come from an innovative maraging steel face that flexes 30% more, making them our hottest, highest-launching fairway woods ever. One of the strongest alloys in the world, maraging steel is commonly used in the aerospace industry, where strength and flexibility are necessities.

Hybrid

An ideal option when gapping your set for mid-to-long distance shots, the G400 hybrids combine maraging steel faces with CG optimization to deliver more distance and forgiveness. Hotter ball speeds launch shots higher and farther, allowing you to stop the ball quickly on the green.

Crossover

The second generation of the Crossover combines the precision and control of an iron with the ball speed and forgiveness of a hybrid. Fast ball speeds, a higher max height and straight ball flights provide unmatched versatility.

Irons

Innovative face-flexing technology launches the ball faster and higher to give you tour-level distance with stopping power and forgiveness. The multi-material G400 iron flexes like a catapult as COR-Eye Technology and a top rail undercut launch the ball higher and farther

Color Code Chart

Karsten began work on his famous PING Color Code System to bring the benefits of custom fitting to the average golfer. Today, PING is the undisputed fitting leader, with thousands of fitting systems at golf shops and courses around the world, a fleet of fitting vehicles that travel to demo days around the country, and a comprehensive, PGA-certified training program designed to instruct golf professionals to properly fit PING equipment to every golfer's swing.

The new PING Color Code Chart features two new color codes — yellow (1.5° upright) and purple (1.5° flat) — to bring the total number of available lie angles to 12. Each of the 12 color codes is separated by .75° to provide golfers a more precise fit for improved accuracy and consistency.

Regardless of your ability, properly fit clubs can help you hit straighter, more consistent shots. By matching the proper club specifications to your swing, a fitter can help reduce or eliminate undesirable shot patterns, like hooks and slices, allowing you to play closer to your full potential and making the game more enjoyable.

Surprisingly, custom-fit PING clubs don't cost any more or take any longer to build. Once an order has been placed through an authorized PING retailer, our streamlined production process allows us to ship your clubs, built to your exact specifications, usually in just 48 hours.

You can start the process right now by using Web-Fit at the top of this page. After answering a few questions, you'll receive static fitting recommendations for irons, a driver, fairway woods, hybrids, wedges or a putter that you can take to the next level
